This shoot meant more to me than just taking pictures.

It was a moment to step back and appreciate how far I’ve come, the work we’ve put in, and the vision I have for where we’re going.

Barbering has given me more than a career. It’s given me a craft to be proud of, relationships I value, and a business that continues to push us to grow.

I’m constantly working on becoming better—not just behind the chair, but as a person and as a business owner.

There’s still so much I want to accomplish, and I’m just getting started.

Thankful for the journey. Proud of my team. Hungry for what’s next. ✂️🖤

Their son, Leon, is bravely fighting leukemia, and their family could use our support as they navigate this journey and the medical expenses that come with it. ❤️‍🩹

Congratulations to Yurem Herrera on his graduation from barber college—another teenage graduate! Yurem actually began accruing hours at his high school in Bloomington before transferring to LBC to complete his education. Yurem started the program with a huge leg up in experience compared to many younger students and has continued to refine his skillset ever since. He has turned himself into a great barber who is extremely detailed in his work and focused on his craft. I’ve always appreciated his effort level, focus and drive to achieve his goal at such a young age—not to mention he brings a great attitude to the shop everyday. He’s got a great future ahead as a barber! Congrats, Yurem! 💈 📚
