My 4th time attending Be+Well | Beauty and Wellness Show (IECSC and Int’l Beauty Show), and it continues to get better each year.
I always leave feeling inspired (and a little overwhelmed in the best way) after absorbing so much knowledge from leading beauty educators.

This show is truly my Super Bowl— ✨ continuing education is what keeps me confident as a solo aesthetician, knowing I’m always offering my clients the very best! ❤︎

My 19-year-old, 3am (mid-COVID panic) idea of leaving the medspa I was at somehow turned into this!

However, this definitely wasn’t just an overnight decision, since kindergarten, I was telling people, “I want to be a beautician,” and ask if I could fix their hair or makeup 😅😂 I’ve always known I wanted to be part of the beauty industry.

💌 Thank you Mom & Dad for letting me take over a room in 2020 (last slide) — even though I didn’t even live there at the time. That tiny space is where I started growing my clientele during COVID.

A 9-cube shelf I already had
A borrowed massage bed from my cousin
And my aesthetic school kit because I was too scared to invest anything yet

I was terrified — of failing, of overhead, of someone saying “I told you so.”

Lots of learning. Lots of growing.
And somehow… 6 years later, here we are.

I feel like I blinked.

I’m extra emotional typing this, but truly and most importantly — thank YOU!

We focused on the root of the issue, changing homecare - combined with consistent microneedling, and hydrofacial + customized enzyme, chemical peels, & dermaplane combos over 4 months 👏🏼

This client walked through my doors as a stranger, frustrated with her skin — and now she’s confident wearing nothing at all or just tinted SPF. I also now consider her a friend. 🫶🏼 Seeing her side-by-side pictures makes me so happy with how far we’ve come! Sometimes it’s easy to forget where you started.
