We Were Influenced… and This One Cost Us. 🫣

As hairstylists, we’re constantly investing in new products, continuing our education, and trying brands that “promise” to deliver incredible results our clients deserve.

Sometimes those investments are game changers…. AAnnddd sometimes they’re expensive lessons. 🫠

After seeing another stylist rave about this extension brand, we decided to give it a shot. Between the glowing review and already knowing about the educator behind the company, we felt confident placing the order.

Unfortunately, what arrived wasn’t what we expected. 😞
The color was inconsistent between wefts from the same order, the ends were so sparse that we had to remove several inches just to create a some what healthy-looking install, and the overall longevity left us super disappointed. After only a couple of months, we had to make the decision to completely replace them.

Now, before anyone comes for me…
Could this have been a bad batch? Absolutely.
Do I think every stylist will have the exact same experience? Probably not.
But I do think this raises an important conversation. ABSOLUTELY 🙌🏼
