The life of a hairstylist has to wear endless hats !

Let me know which hats I left off , I know being a spouse / wife and mom are one for sure that I do not have but another job as well !!

Truth is in pudding , we cannot expect the hair to remember something we do not establish first .

When styling the hair with thermal heat you want to lightly spray the hair before and after styling . Once the curl / wave has been established , follow up with a cool shot from your dryer .

The cool shot button on a blow dryer delivers a
delivers a burst of cold air to lock in your hairstyle, seal the hair cuticle, and add shine.
I usually do this step once the style has been established and resting .

This guest of mine has started to wear a shorter tapper but I wanted to round out the top some and style her a bit different to make it feel fresh and new !

Each color story must have a consultation prior to starting so I can know if the hair is healthy enough to go on the journey we want to create .

However, I also consult again at the beginning of each appointment to make sure what we mappers our bed discuss dis still the same plan .

Also to ensure I am aware of all that is going on with the hair as I noted during the consultation . In this video I noticed how hot her roots were in the back compared to the front . During the original consultation I was more focused on the lines of demarcation caused form parting not being thin enough which gave her some strips .
