Imagine being booked for months at a time and having clients on a waitlist .

To then take on new clients , have them be argumentative, not trust or believe a word you say because their other stylist said or YouTube said ….

And don’t get me started on when I was telling everyone not to use creams and oils and your fav natural hair enthusiast and stylist were arguing with me .

Setting those boundaries in one season in my life came at a time where I was having panic attacks behind the chair . So yeah this documentary would be CLASSIC !

Remember to take care of you first before making sure everyone else is taken care of . Service providers have the right to decide on who they service the same way consumers have the right to go to whom ever they decide !

Not a fortune but before I get booked out like before I moved to Atlanta !

Part 1: This transformation was so rewarding and beautiful!

I couldn’t believe that this was a recent haircut I was accessing prior to her hair appointment.

I want us as hairstylist to do more consulting and honestly responding to the clients needs . If you are unsure keep having the conversation where you both are speaking tje same hair language and are on the exact page . Do not start the service until then or politely allow them to know you aren’t comfortable with proceeding with the service . At this point you can even refer them out .

But there is no reason to accept a client and not be able to meet the need !
