Since the opening of District Barbers, I’ve been so Blessed! I say this because of the journey. Having a rough start running out of money with just trying to get open… 8 weeks into opening having to shut down due to COVID, having 12 floods…. 12 floods causing the death of 2 young men that lost their lives right in front my eyes who were there to fix the issue. The loss of a great barber due to moving after working with them for 9 years by their side. The Death of my father this past year. The constant struggles of day to day life. There’s one thing I always knew..… to not stay down & to get the f**k up.
