a lil glimpse into my life lately, non-tattoo related ✨

since Apollo, my sweet little buddy, was diagnosed with a serious heart condition, I’ve been fully embracing every moment with him. I always have, of course, but it hits differently now. it’s honestly been hard to accept the harsh reality of impermanence. he’s such an angel in my life. he joined my journey about a year after my dad passed, right when I needed him most. I’m endlessly grateful for the time we share, the memories we’ve made, and all the adventures along the way. 🤍

Oli, my majestic little kitty boi, has been the best brother to Apollo through all of this. I swear he knows what’s going on. he’s been so extra affectionate and loving with him lately. the sweetest. 🤍

I also finally made it out to Georgia to visit my mama and step dad. so much quality time, so much lush green nature, and got some much needed forest bathing in, it truly is medicine for the soul. 🖤

I’ve always been fascinated by the role tattooing has played throughout human history.

across cultures and throughout time, tattoos have often served as markers of transformation—symbols of identity, belonging, resilience, remembrance, and personal evolution. while modern tattooing can certainly be aesthetic, I’ve found that many people seek tattoos during significant chapters of their lives.

a new beginning.
a loss.
a breakthrough.
a reclamation of self.
a moment they never want to forget.

this is one reason I approach tattooing with such reverence.
not because the tattoo itself creates the transformation, but because it can become a tangible reminder of one that is already unfolding.

a marker of who you’ve been.
a reflection of who you are.
a symbol of who you’re becoming.

I’m always drawn to ornamental dotwork — it feels like a form of permanent jewelry… delicate, intentional, and deeply feminine.
