There is a new world of color waiting inside JLounge!
We’re so happy to welcome the work of Boulder based artist Richelle Cripe into the spa. Her paintings work with a deliberately limited palette to explore color and the choices we make (and don’t) — and honestly, they’ve already changed the feeling of the space.
Richelle grew up sketching floor plans on graph paper and building elaborate structures out of scraps and cardboard, always more interested in building whole worlds than playing with what went inside them. That instinct never really left her.
By day, she works as a technologist in the very regimented, analytical language of computers. And then there’s this — a palette full of color, painted entirely by instinct, with a brush in each hand.
We think you’ll feel that contrast the moment you’re in the room with it.
Her work will be up for a while, but if you’re in for a facial, a mani, pedi, or just passing through, take a minute with it.
