I made it for me. You guys just happen to have access to it. 🤭
Glo by Glen Skin wasn’t created around a trend or because I simply wanted to launch a skincare line.
I created the products I wanted to use on my own skin.
The concentrations I wanted.
The ingredients I believed in.
The textures I wanted to reach for every day.
The results I wanted to see in the mirror.
And yes, I still use them. Religiously.
There’s something different about creating a product when you’re also the customer. I’m not recommending a routine from the sidelines these are the formulas sitting on my own bathroom counter.
So technically, this is my skincare routine…
I just decided to share it with you. 😉

Two prescription skincare ingredients you should be careful when combining. 👀
Tretinoin and hydroquinone are powerful ingredients for addressing acne, texture, and hyperpigmentation but how you use them matters.
When introducing these actives, I often recommend alternating nights to minimize irritation and protect the skin barrier.
✨ Tretinoin: Start low, go slow, and consider the sandwich method (moisturizer → tretinoin → moisturizer).
✨ Hydroquinone: Use as prescribed to target hyperpigmentation and dark spots, particularly in melanin-rich skin.
While these ingredients can be prescribed together, not every skin type tolerates the same routine.
And remember, daily SPF is nonnegotiable. ☀️
Effective skincare isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing what’s right for your skin.

A 12-step skincare routine? Absolutely not. 😅
More products don’t automatically mean better skin.
My routine is typically 3–5 intentional steps, and I take the same approach with my patients. If you’re new to medical-grade skincare, sometimes we’ll introduce one serum at a time and allow your skin to adjust before adding anything else.
Why?
Because throwing multiple new actives at your skin at once can lead to irritation and when your skin doesn’t feel good, you’re far less likely to stay consistent with your routine.
And consistency is where results are built.
Start simple.
Introduce actives intentionally.
Pay attention to how your skin responds.
Build from there.
You don’t need the entire kitchen sink on your face.
You need the right products, in the right order, for your skin.

Retinol doesn’t have to mean peeling, cracking, and constant irritation.
One of the biggest reasons people stop using retinol isn’t because it doesn’t work it’s because their skin can’t tolerate the routine they’ve started.
That’s why we believe in starting low and staying consistent.
Our Retinol + Bakuchiol starts at 0.25% retinol, giving the skin an opportunity to gradually acclimate while still receiving the benefits retinol is known for.
✨ Supports healthy skin renewal
✨ Helps improve the appearance of pores and texture
✨ Supports clearer-looking skin
✨ Helps soften the appearance of fine lines
✨ Promotes a smoother, more refined complexion
And because the formula is designed with skin tolerance in mind, you don’t need to associate an effective retinol routine with aggressive peeling or irritation.
A few drops go a long way and with retinol, consistency will always matter more than aggression.
Start low. Go slow. Let your skin adjust.

Where it all starts. 🌿
Before the serums, treatments, and actives comes one of the most important steps in your routine: a proper cleanse.
Our Glo Green Tea Antioxidant Clarifier is designed to remove oil, impurities, makeup, and daily buildup without leaving your skin feeling stripped or depleted.
Powered by Green Tea Polyphenols and a blend of soothing, hydrating botanicals, it does more than cleanse it helps provide antioxidant support while preparing your skin for everything that follows.
Because what you cleanse with matters. Your cleanser sets the foundation for the rest of your routine, and healthy skin should never have to feel tight or dry to feel clean.
Cleanse. Clarify. Prepare. Then treat.
It all starts with Glo Green Tea Antioxidant Clarifier.

What makes Glo by Glen Skin different? It starts with the formulation.
“Medical-grade” is a term you hear often in skincare, but for us, the conversation goes beyond a label.
It’s about concentration, formulation technology, ingredient selection, and intentionality.
Take two of our hero formulas:
✨ Glühen Tone Perfecting Serum features 15% mixed molecular weight niacinamide, formulated to help improve the appearance of pores, uneven tone, and overall skin texture.
✨ L’éclat Vitality Elixir delivers a potent concentration of Vitamin C, supported by antioxidants like Ergothioneine and Green Tea Polyphenols to help brighten the complexion and defend against oxidative stress.
But concentration alone isn’t enough.
How ingredients are formulated and delivered matters, too. That’s why our formulas are developed with a rapid-release delivery system designed to optimize how key ingredients are delivered to the skin.
Because effective skincare isn’t about adding the highest percentage possible.
It’s about combining potency + delivery + thoughtful formulation to create products designed with skin function in mind.
That’s the science behind Glo by Glen Skin.

Cleanser or toner first? Cleanser. Always.
Before you treat the skin, you need to properly cleanse it.
Throughout the day, your skin accumulates oil, makeup, sunscreen, sweat, and environmental debris. Cleansing removes that buildup so you’re starting the rest of your routine with a clean foundation.
A toner can follow to help refresh and condition the skin but here’s the part people often miss: not everyone needs a toner every single day.
Your routine should be based on what your skin actually needs, not how many steps you can fit into it.
That’s why I start with the Glo Green Tea Antioxidant Clarifier. It’s formulated to effectively cleanse without leaving the skin feeling overly stripped or dry, while ingredients like Green Tea Polyphenols, Ectoin, Panthenol, Chamomile, and Cucumber provide antioxidant, hydrating, and soothing support.
Single cleanse when that’s enough.
Double cleanse when you need it.
Then hydrate, treat, and moisturize.
Cleanse first. Treat second. And never add a step just because social media told you that you need one.

When your skin is stressed, adding more actives isn’t always the answer.
Sometimes, your skin needs support.
Clarté Serum was formulated with a comprehensive blend of hydrating, soothing, and antioxidant-rich ingredientsdesigned to help bring compromised, sensitive, or reactive skin back into balance.
Hyaluronic Acid + Panthenol support hydration.
Green Tea Polyphenols + Vitamin C provide antioxidant defense.
Cucumber + Echinacea help soothe.
Willow Bark + Mulberry support clarity and a more even-looking complexion.
Melatonin adds another layer of antioxidant support against environmental stress.
It’s not about one hero ingredient. It’s about how the entire formulation works together to calm, hydrate, protect, and support healthier-looking skin.
For skin that needs a little less aggression—and a lot more intention.

When it comes to exfoliation, more isn’t always better but neither is skipping it altogether.
There’s a balance.
When I don’t exfoliate enough, I notice it in my own skin: more congestion, visible sebaceous filaments, small comedones, and increased texture especially around my nose.
But over-exfoliating can create an entirely different problem by irritating the skin and compromising the barrier.
So what do I do?
I typically alternate Glo Lactic Elixir 2–3 nights per week with my Retinol + Bakuchiol 1–2 nights per week, adjusting based on what my skin needs.
Glo Lactic combines Lactic Acid with a hydrating peptide complex, allowing me to gently address buildup and texture while simultaneously supporting hydration. Then, on separate nights, retinol provides a stronger approach to cellular turnover and texture.
The goal isn’t peeling, flaking, or feeling like your skincare is “working.”
The goal is smooth, balanced, healthy-looking skin without compromising the barrier.
When I get that balance right, I can see the difference: smoother texture, more radiance, less congestion, and even better makeup application.
Exfoliation isn’t about doing the most. It’s about knowing what your skin needs.
