June is Men’s Health Month.
Many cancers develop without symptoms, which is why routine screening matters.
At Novellis Health, Dr. Errol Mallett (Urology) and Dr. Mukul Arya (Gastroenterology) work together to help men stay ahead of prostate and colorectal cancer through early detection and coordinated care.
Prostate cancer and colorectal cancer are among the most common cancers affecting men, but when found early, treatment options are often more effective.
If you are 45 or older, have a family history of cancer, or have concerns about your health, now is the time to start the conversation.

Congratulations to the New York Knicks on bringing the NBA Championship back to New York City!
At Novellis Health, we know success comes from showing up consistently, putting in the work, and playing the long game.
The same is true for your health.
Stay in the game. Get screened.
Men’s Health Month is the perfect time to schedule a preventive health visit, discuss prostate cancer screening, and take charge of your health before symptoms appear.
Because championships aren’t won waiting on the sidelines- and neither is good health.

According to the American Cancer Society, Black men are about 73% more likely to develop prostate cancer than White men and are more than twice as likely to die from the disease.
These numbers are concerning, but they also highlight the importance of awareness, regular checkups, and conversations about prostate health.
Many men with early prostate cancer have no symptoms. Understanding your risk and discussing screening with your physician can help identify problems sooner and provide more treatment options if cancer is found.
This Men’s Health Month, take a proactive approach to your health.

Low iron is more than feeling tired. It’s a medical condition, and it usually has a cause worth finding.
Common signs of iron deficiency may include:
• Constant fatigue
• Pale skin
• Shortness of breath with activity
• Dizziness
• Hair thinning
• Ice cravings
• Restless legs at night
At Novellis Health, iron infusions are prescribed and supervised by board-certified hematologists. We perform the appropriate laboratory testing, identify potential causes of iron deficiency, and develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
If you’ve been told your iron is low or fatigue has become your normal schedule a consultation with our team.

Thank you, Dr. Charles Thompson , for shining a light on an important topic affecting Black men and our communities. Conversations about stress, mental health, and preventive care matter. Strength isn’t staying silent—it’s taking action.

Don’t ignore the signs.
Waking up to p*e. Changes in urinary habits. Fatigue. A family history you’ve been meaning to bring up. Too many men wait until it’s impossible to ignore.
This Men’s Health Month, take control. One visit. One conversation. Your health.
