The irony of hating AI while using it every day.

I’ve noticed a lot of people criticizing others for using AI, and to a certain extent, I get it. The environmental concerns are real, and we should absolutely be questioning them.

But here’s something to think about…

AI has been around for a good minute, y’all! It’s just become more accessible. Many people use it every day without even realizing it.

Facial recognition on your phone
Google Maps and Waze predicting traffic
Emails filtering spam
Spotify, Netflix, and YouTube recommendations
Phone cameras enhancing photos
Online shopping recommendations
Predictive text and autocorrect
Banks detecting suspicious transactions
Language translation tools
Voice assistants like Siri and Alexa

Not all of these use the same type of AI, but it’s been part of our everyday lives for years.

Something else people overlook is accessibility. Not everyone can afford to hire a graphic designer to create a flyer or bring an idea to life. Others, especially older generations, may not be very tech-savvy. AI has opened doors for people who otherwise wouldn’t have had those opportunities.

I personally see this as another chapter of our evolution. Spiritually, I believe we chose to experience this particular moment in time. Does that mean we have to embrace everything or participate? Absolutely not. That’s our choice.

I’m all about Mother Earth, honoring our roots, connecting with nature, and keeping traditions alive. But the world is constantly changing, and so are we.

There’s a difference between questioning something and ridiculing others for using it.

We can appreciate handmade art, human creativity, and traditional ways of living while recognizing the value of modern tools. One doesn’t have to cancel out the other.

Yes, we should question AI’s environmental impact, ethics, and long-term consequences. But maybe our energy would be better spent understanding it and holding those developing it accountable rather than judging one another.

Evolution doesn’t mean abandoning our roots. It means learning how to grow without forgetting where we came from.

If you haven’t watched The Dark Wizard, the documentary about Dean Potter, I highly recommend it. 🖤

I was deeply moved by his courage, his willingness to face his fears, his longing for freedom, and his connection to nature, and especially Ravens 🐦‍⬛

What stayed with me most was the contrast between his spiritual longing and his human nature. His desire for peace and connection, while still navigating his ego, competitiveness, and inner struggles. Something I think we can all relate to.

We get so caught up in the pursuit of doing, achieving, competing, and proving ourselves that sometimes we forget the importance of simply being. The pause, the silence, the retreat. Sometimes we need to step away from all the noise to reconnect with what truly matters.

Dean once wrote:

“I need to quiet my mind and find clarity through emptiness.”

And one of my favorite quotes of his:

“Whatever I do, I long to be untethered and free.”

I don’t believe we came here to overcome our human nature. I believe we came here to experience it. The light, the darkness, the love, the fear, the ego, the imperfections. All of it.

Maybe that’s the beauty of being human. We can spend our lives searching for something greater while learning to embrace the experience we’re already living. 🖤

🌕🏹 THE HUNTER’S MOON IS UPON US! 🍂

As October comes to a close, we welcome the Hunter’s Moon, a Full Moon rooted in the traditions of survival, preparation, and the changing seasons.

Long ago, this was the time when hunters gathered food and prepared for the colder months ahead. The harvest was complete, and nature reminded us to gather what we needed before winter arrived.

But what does this moon represent for us spiritually? 🌙

The Hunter’s Moon invites us to trust our instincts, find our courage, and become intentional about what we are pursuing. It’s a time to reflect on what we’ve gathered, what we’ve outgrown, and what we want to carry into the next season.

This year’s Full Moon falls in Ta**us, an earth sign associated with grounding, stability, security, and the simple comforts of life. A beautiful reminder that not everything requires chasing. Sometimes we need to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and appreciate what we already have. 🌿

And with Samhain approaching, a season traditionally associated with honoring our ancestors, endings, and new beginnings, there’s an even deeper invitation to reflect on the cycles of life.

🍂 In the days leading up to this moon, take some time to clear your space, ground yourself, reflect on your intentions, and release what no longer belongs in your next chapter.

What are you preparing for? What are you ready to leave behind? And what is worth pursuing?

🌕✨ A little reminder to our tribe! We gather this Monday, October 26th, for our Full Moon Ceremony. Come share sacred space, connect, reflect, and celebrate another beautiful cycle beneath the moon.

Bring your intentions and your beautiful energy! Comfortable clothing is always encouraged, but if you’re feeling a little festive with Samhain around the corner, you’re welcome to wear a costume too. Just make sure you’re cozy! 🍂🧹

🌑✨ Happy New Moon & Happy October, beautiful souls! 🍂🧙‍♀️

Some of us are witches all year long, but October just hits a little different! 🖤

There’s something magical about the excitement this season brings. I love watching everyone come alive, getting creative, dressing up, embracing their imagination, and expressing parts of themselves they may keep hidden throughout the year.

It makes me wonder… why do we wait for a special occasion to be whoever we want to be? Life is too short to hide the beautiful, wild, strange, and magical parts of ourselves. May we all find the freedom to be unapologetically ourselves, all year long. ✨

And with the New Moon comes a beautiful reminder that we can always begin again. Light a candle, set an intention, release an old fear, and make room for something new. Just as autumn teaches us to let go, we too can shed what no longer serves us and trust that new growth will come. 🍁🌿

This October also holds a special place in my heart. On October 24th, Nelipot celebrates 8 beautiful years! Eight years of growth, lessons, friendships, and countless souls who have crossed our path. My heart is filled with gratitude for everyone who has been part of this journey. 🧡

Here’s to October magic, new beginnings, and the courage to live as our truest selves!

🌿 Albahaca • Rooted in Tradition 🌿

There’s something so beautiful about keeping our abuelitas’ traditions alive. 💚

Growing up, albahaca (basil) was more than just a plant. Our abuelitas used it in limpias, spiritual cleansing, protection, and to invite peace and good energy into the home. A tradition passed down through generations, deeply rooted in our Mexican culture.

This beautiful albahaca was harvested straight from my garden and slowly infused in alcohol, allowing the fresh leaves to release their natural plant compounds, aroma, and that gorgeous, vibrant green color. 🌱 No artificial coloring, just Mother Nature doing her magic!

Traditionally cherished for cleansing, protection, and blessings, albahaca continues to hold a special place in our hearts and our spiritual practices.

From my garden to your hands, made with love, intention, and a little ancestral wisdom. 🌿✨
