A fresh new look for Summer!

We started with long, heavy length and transitioned her into a gorgeous, bouncy style.

We tailored this cut specifically to her daily routine and hair goals. By removing the excess weight that was dragging things down and melting in some soft, face-framing layers, we created a look that is light, effortless, and completely fresh.

If your hair is feeling heavy or you're simply craving a change, I would love to welcome you into the salon.

✨ Introducing Model Mondays ✨️

Growth never stops, and neither does my commitment to giving my guests the best experience possible.

With over 10 years behind the chair, I still invest in continued education to refine my skills, learn new techniques, and stay inspired. While mannequin work has its place, the real magic happens when there's a connection with another human being. That's where creativity, customization, and confidence come to life.

Model Mondays will give me the opportunity to create new haircut and color techniques while offering models a professional salon experience at a minimal cost to cover product and overhead expenses.

✨ I'm looking for models who:

• Are comfortable being photographed and filmed.
• Are open to haircut and/or color projects.
• Understand that before & after photos and videos will be shared on my social media.

Every model will receive a complimentary consultation beforehand to make sure they're the right fit for that week's project.

Interested in participating in Model Monday?

A little dimension can make a big difference!

By adding depth and subtle brightness throughout, we created a vibrant brunette that catches the light beautifully while keeping things soft and natural.

We worked with her natural color rather than against it, creating a seamless blend that will allow her natural hair to grow out beautifully with less upkeep between appointments.

Summer doesn't always mean going lighter. Sometimes it's best to embrace your natural hair color and enhance what you already have.

Rich, dimensional brunettes deserve their moment too! 🤎🤎🤎

Hair should complement you, not compete with you!

One of my favorite things about haircut transformations is seeing how the right shape can completely change the way hair feels and moves.

For her, shortening the length and adding strategic layering created more volume, softness, and balance while keeping plenty of styling options.

Beautiful hair isn't about following trends—it's about finding the shape that works best for you. ✨

Out of office mode: ON (well, almost!) ✈️🏙️

I’ll be stepping away from the studio June 12–18 to head to Chicago for an amazing editorial & creative workshop with Peter Gray!

Around here, the learning never stops. I’m so grateful for opportunities to refine my craft and bring fresh, new inspiration straight back to the chair for you.

Thank you for always supporting my growth and trusting me with your hair.

Can’t wait to see you all when I’m back!
Refreshed, inspired, and ready to create! ✨

❤️ Liz B.

✨️ Throwback Thursday ✨

One of my favorite collections I've ever created.

Raíces (Roots) created in 2019, was inspired by something that shaped a huge part of my life, long before I became a hairstylist: Ballet Folklórico Mexicano.

For over 10 years I performed and I was always fascinated by the movement of the skirts, the vibrant colors, the energy of the dancers, and the pride we carried in our culture.

When it came time to create this collection, I wanted to translate those memories into hair. The color placement, texture, shape, and movement were all inspired by the way folklórico dresses come alive when dancers take the stage.

The last photo is especially meaningful to me. It was taken in Hong Kong, China in 2009, where my dance partner (who's my husband) and I traveled with our folklórico company to perform during the Chinese New Year Festival.

Looking back, this collection reminds me how important it is to create outside of the salon. Those creative experiences push us to think differently, refine our skills, and bring fresh inspiration back behind the chair.

Sometimes our best work comes from our roots!
