🔥I'm showing you how to create beautiful, loose waves using the Bio Ionic long barrel curling iron.
✅ I’m taking one-inch sections, rolling the iron up to the roots first to let the heat pe*****te, ✅holding for a count of five, then gently twisting it out. ✅I’m working through each section methodically, avoiding touching the curls as they set, and finishing with a texture spray and brush for that perfect relaxed texture

The last time we lightened Jen was in September. Her most current balayage was the week of May 17 and we brightened up for the summer! She wanted to pull in the brightness, but leave the dimension. It grows out beautiful and gives her longevity. The blonde stays higher in the face frame area as it naturally grows out. Balayage is just one just one way to achieve this look. I feel more creative to customize using balayage.

Blow dry with today for the first time. The stylists I work with love it and I wanted to use it to be more knowledgeable to recommend and understand how it works and feels. Maybe that’s the educator in me 🙂
✔️Blow dry facts - a strong blow dry includes 3 things. TENSION, WATER and HEAT. Any product you use, is only a tool. That’s not what makes the blow dry work. It is a catalyst to get you where you want to go.
✔️Slide 2 - I always flip my head over after brushing through my product. I focus on the roots and dry those first and the ends will follow. Then I focus on fringe, which is any hair that lays naturally from temple to temple.I get into the fringe and ends. Fringe ALWAYS should BLEND in seamlessly to a haircut. The shape should flow.
✔️Slide 3 - it’s so much quicker to dry
✔️Brush Choice - my favorite brushes are and

Loving this bright faceframe 🔆 to give some light to this dark winter. Every 4 weeks we cover the wisdom roots. I transitioned from a med blonde 8 to a double pigment lighter blonde 99,0/9, 1 and loving the soft grow out. I custom Balayage her maybe 2x a year. This appointment I felt we needed to break up the color and have some breakthrough blonde to brighten her face. I added 5 foils to her fringe area. We are loving that this small change can make a big impact. Placement is everything. I keep the hair healthy by lifting her with 7V and treat with K18 before I start blinding. Cover & Tone with Davines.

Dalal came as a new referral. Color correction time! This took a total so far of 7 hours. As you can see, she has very think hair and we have to handle her texture with care. ✅Dalal had a black base, grey exposed and bands of color. We had a clear vision that came to life!
✅1st step was with Crystal clear XL to take all mineral and environmental buildup off of the hair! This gives the hair a clean slate and prepares the hair for more heavy lifting without stressing it too much. This is a GAME CHANGER as a stand alone service or with a color service.
✅ I immediately went in with BLONDING CREAM ASH to break up the black base and bump it to a softer cool chocolate tone. This also doubled as a toner for the existing highlights that were exposed more after the service. I applied the Blonding cream ash with 40 2:1 and applied below the grey to the ends. That can stay on up to 45 min. I washed and conditioned and it was so pretty.
✅I went in with a partial face frame highlight to break up and bring lighter neutral brown into it. Then toned everything with 7M with some 7N.
We will be doing more lighter brown into the future while giving her more longevity and softness. We are loving her fresh softer and brighter look and feel. makeup be Dalal herself who is also an artist.
FRINGE or BANGS?
👩🏽Fringe is any hair that naturally lives between your temples. It is the European term for bang and in my opinion more pleasant and no stigma surrounding it. You can have a short micro fringe or a long fringe below your chin. There are no limitations to length.
1. Fringe should flow with the haircut
2. To blow dry and style, you want movement and as you can see in video, I brush the hair back and forth, under and brush the sides out .
3. Cutting fringe to give movement. Is important. You can’t just cut straight across in all cases and expect it to flow.
4. Be patient
5. Fringe gives you options with styling!
