I know having a chronically ill stylist isn't fun or what anyone expected but I truly appreciate everyone who's stuck with me during this difficult transition on top of losing my biggest supporter, my dad. It's been difficult to say the least, but good times will come ✨

And we're starting with ONLINE BOOKING‼️I transitioned to the dark side and now have online booking available for haircuts, deep conditioning treatments, extended scalp massages, braids, formal styles, and more services to come!

Appointments available as soon as next week ✨ It's a very strange feeling of going from booked out 3-4 months in advance with all the color services to only being booked out a week 💔 I'm just so very grateful the amazing stylists at the salon have been able to take over my color clients 🙏

💔 my biggest supporter and the person that loved me the most left this earth peacefully in his sleep Wednesday 💔

I'm taking some more time off and will return texts/calls after next week.

Most of you know I've been out sick for some time before this and I will no longer be able to work with chemicals including hair color. I'll be reaching out to set everyone up with another stylist in the salon for color and I hope to return cutting hair in the near future.

So by now I think the majority of my clients know I've had lung issues for a very long time. From my strict sick policy, color line changes, fans, and whatever else I've tried over the years 😂

Let's be real, my lungs are not strong enough to keep working with the chemicals that I do & I need to come up with a solution so I can stay healthy and continue in this field.

So here's one of my pulmonologists suggestions 😂 We'll see how I can handle it as I can barely breathe in a surgical mask 😳 This may be a temporary situation until I can come up with something better, but we're gonna try it!

So when I return back to work tomorrow 🙏 And you see me applying color in a respirator and sitting on a saddle chair please laugh with me cause that's all we got! Lol

I'm still recovering from pneumonia, but am no longer contagious as the Dr says it's a long road to recovery from this infection. I'm still very short of breath, fatigued, coughing, and have significant chest pain.

So until I'm healed I will be offering silent appointments as I get winded very easily and really hoping I can return back to work and normal hours again 🙏

I spoke about how the lack of haircare affects hygiene and mental well-being for the guests we serve.

I was honored with a year long membership and 30 children were vaccinated against polio in my honor ❤️
