Today, the 10/10 Portal opens alongside the New Moon in Libra, bringing together one of the most meaningful alignments of the year. The portal marks the completion of one cycle and the beginning of another, while the New Moon invites you to set intentions for the relationships, peace, and future you want to build. Together, they ask you to stop looking at your life through the lens of everything it has taken to survive and begin looking at it through the lens of everything it is finally ready to become.

The version of you who carried the last few years deserves to be honored. They kept going through uncertainty, heartbreak, disappointment, and chapters they never imagined they would have to live. They found a way forward when there wasn't one. They protected your hope when it would have been easier to let it disappear. They brought you here.

Walk into this new chapter knowing they have already done their job. The years ahead do not need you to keep proving how much you can survive. They are asking something entirely different of you now. They are asking you to receive the love you no longer have to chase, the peace you no longer have to earn, and the life that finally reflects everything you became along the way. Today is not only a new beginning. It is proof that you made it here.

The Dragon Meteor Shower reaches its peak tonight, and for centuries it has been associated with wishes, transformation, and the belief that certain nights carry more possibility than others. Because the meteors appear to radiate from the constellation Draco, the dragon became a symbol of courage, protection, and the treasures we only discover after the hardest chapters of our lives. Unlike many meteor showers, the Draconids move slowly across the sky, almost inviting you to pause long enough to ask yourself what you want this next season of your life to become.

Maybe that is why people have looked up on nights like this for generations. A meteor shower reminds you that the sky is always in motion, even when your own life feels like it has been standing still. It asks you to believe that change can begin quietly, that hope is still worth carrying, and that one beautiful moment can make you feel connected to something much larger than yourself.

Whether you make a wish, say a prayer, or simply spend a few minutes beneath the sky, let tonight remind you that your story is still unfolding. October has always belonged to people who were willing to believe that beautiful things could arrive without warning. That has always been the real magic of looking up. It reminds you there is still so much left to hope for.

You are the altar.

Empathy burns clean.

Peace begins when you stop wasting energy trying to control what never belonged to you. You can shape your mindset, choices, boundaries, and reactions—but not other people’s opinions, the past, or the future. Wisdom is knowing where your responsibility ends, and letting go without guilt.
