Before Lavender Layne, our owner, Amy Lee, spent over 10 years as a national balayage educator, traveling to salons and hair shows across the country teaching stylists, mentoring professionals, and sharing advanced techniques. She is still holding that roll as well.

That passion for education didn’t stop when Lavender Layne opened. It became the foundation of our culture.

We believe every guest deserves a team that is constantly learning, growing, practicing, and refining. That’s why we invest so heavily in in-house education and training. Every protocol is intentional. Every detail matters. Every team member is committed to continually raising the standard.

There was a season when I was on my knees sanding base boards praying on the floor, asking God to send us clients when we opened. I couldn’t see what He had planned—I just knew I wanted to create a place where people could truly rest and help with their hair growth.

That vision became the Lavender Layne Signature Scalp Protocol. Every step was thoughtfully developed in-house to create an experience that is both relaxing and intentional.

Today, watching guests travel from near and far reminds me that every prayer, every late night, and every challenge was worth it.
