My best friend and Man of God has transitioned home. The Lord has been so good to Cozell — a fighter on the court (NC State, forever Wolfpack) and a fighter in life. Cozell lived well past his prognosis and we are forever grateful for every additional minute, hour, day, week, and month we were given with him.

NC State Basketball legend Cozell McQueen passed away this week at age 64.

A vital presence for the Pack from 1981–85, McQueen brought unmatched toughness and fearlessness to the floor — traits that proved essential during NC State’s legendary run to the 1983 National Championship.
