As an immigrant, I don’t take the freedoms we enjoy in America for granted.

I am deeply grateful to call this country home and thankful for the opportunities and liberties it has provided. One freedom that means the most to me is the ability to openly live out my faith and worship without fear. That is a gift not everyone in the world has.

Today, I celebrate with gratitude—for the freedom to believe, to speak, to work hard, to raise a family, and to pursue my dreams. I’m thankful for those who have sacrificed to protect these freedoms and for the privilege of living in this incredible country.

This tattoo has always reminded me of love, friendship, strength, and the people who leave footprints on our hearts. Today, I’m adding birth flowers in honor of Hayley—a beautiful way to carry her memory with me wherever I go. Every time I see this elephant, I’ll think of her adventurous spirit, her laughter, and the special place she will always hold in my heart. 🌸💕
