This beautiful client hadn’t had her brows microshaded in over 5 years. Her original PMU artist no longer provides permanent makeup services, and when she tried to have her brows redone, she kept hearing the same thing: “I don’t work over another artist’s work.”

And unfortunately, I hear this way too often.

Old PMU should not always be an automatic “no.” Every client and every set of brows is different. What matters is taking the time to carefully assess the existing pigment, fading, shape, skin, and what can realistically be achieved.
