The reason your lashes don’t last isn’t what you think…
One of the most common things I hear is, “The glue must not be working.”
While adhesive can occasionally be the issue, most retention problems actually happen at home.
Before you blame the glue, ask yourself:
🫧 Are you washing your lashes daily? Dirty lashes collect oil, makeup, and debris that can break down the adhesive bond.
😴 Are you sleeping face down? Friction from your pillow can twist, pull, and prematurely shed your extensions.
💄 Are you using oily products around your eyes? Oils are one of the fastest ways to weaken the adhesive.
🚿 Are you letting shower water directly hit your lashes? The pressure alone can cause lashes to tangle and shed faster.
😭 Do you rub your eyes when you’re tired or stressed? Even a little rubbing can make a big difference in retention.
The truth is, beautiful retention is a team effort. My job is to apply your lashes correctly using proper techniques, quality products, and a customized lash set. Your job is to care for them between appointments.
