One of my favorite parts about soapmaking is cutting the bars the next day. I never know if the inside turned out as I imagined. I’m so pleased with this bar, which I created for the Diwali holiday! The candle flame was tricky and time consuming, but so worth it. Red from Brazilian red clay, yellow from sea buckthorn oil, and orange from paprika. The green in the Diya (candle holder) is French green clay and spirulina. Currently curing and ready in early October!

What better way to spend a lazy Sunday morning on a long weekend than your local farmers market? The weather is beautiful and there are tons of fun and creative local vendors to explore. Come by and say hi! Sundays 9-1!

While many still wake up from celebrating our 250th last night, we’re out at the farmers market at Belleview & I-25. We’re so excited to have some new honeybee apparel. Come visit us and check it out!
