With a heavy heart I have been considering doing something else, don't get me wrong, I LOVE WHAT I DO, but the industry is TOO FLOODED and new techs are able to do work for basically free, I CAN'T. I've been fixing some of their work over the last few years and it becomes defeating. Is being a few bucks cheaper worth the damage to your nails, or does that not matter to clients? If you are too damaged sooner or later you won't have a thing to adhere to... I've always been a quality over quantity person, when it comes to my clients but I'm not interested in being anyones "next quick fixer". Do any of my long time nail tech friends feel this too? Or just me 🫣😬
I may be cutting down days so I can do another job soon. The late cancelelations kill me also, I don't take walk in's and since I've been working at home I've had soooo many. I understand life happens but I can't fill spots with 10 hours notice. Please be mindful of that. And some of you have said charge me for my late notice, but I feel guilty doing that, so im just asking you to understand, I don't work, I don't pay my bills... I WANT to work. I expect zero for free. Thank you for understanding. Ill keep my schedule updated when I find out more. ❤️
