It’s not all business we play hard too 👌🏼

I love Monday to reset. Going into the week feeling set up for success makes my mental load that much lighter. Not every week goes this way but I make it a goal to check a couple things off the list.

Because by Thursday I will thank the high heavens 😂 🫠

I have been a little busy. We have had a lot of big moments around here 🫶🏻

Rhett woke up on his birthday and had his first loose tooth. We adventured on the jet boats. Rode his dirt bike all around the yard. Learning new skills behind the chair. Eating seasonal foods that feed the soul ☀️

“ Some days are better than others”

My grandmother had told me this many times, and my own mom. Now it’s my mantra of the day because damnnnnnn it was feeling like a lot all day!

At one point I felt extreme overwhelm around my job. I had multiple messages of schedule changes and literally no where to put anyone. Not to mention just catching up after being gone for 3 days.

Laundry literally spewing from my eyeballs. I could never fold laundry again and I wouldn’t feel even a little sad.

Dishes…. Sink full. Meal prep…. Sink full. You know how that goes. Was it worth it totally! But f**k the process.

But hey, some days are better than others 🫠

Least favorite home task
