My Why started with three people! First with my father.He taught me to build something people always come back for, a service not just a sale. My love of hair came to me in early life knowing I wanted to do hair, so I became a cosmetologist! The beauty school I attended there was no such training on skin care! The only knowledge I had of skin care was Mary Kay which I ended up investing in and selling! After graduating from beauty school, I knew I needed something more professional. So after years I decided I wanted to be able to help my clients not only with their hair but also their skin. So when my sister went to aesthetic school the school she was going to was using Dermalogica. She told me it was a great skincare line that used nothing bad for the skin. She encouraged me to become a stockist!! That's how I started with Dermalogica investing in the products and then investing in myself with greater knowledge of skin care and how to perform an amazing facial! Not just basically fufu facial but actually helping the skin look better. Then after several years in 2005 after attending IDI and Dermalogica classes I was able to attend Congress in Barcelona, Spain where I actually met Jane Wurwand. She was talking about the philosophy of skin health not just beauty. This changed the way I saw the industry. So my why is simple build something real rooted in education that actually helps people's skin. I am able to not only transform my client's hair but also provide them with skin care treatments!
