πͺ Back-to-School Wellness Tip #4
Get Back Into an Exercise Routine
As the school year begins, it's easy for healthy habits to take a back seat. Make time to move your body each day!
Regular physical activity can:
π Boost energy levels
π Improve mood and reduce stress
β€οΈ Support heart health
π§ Increase focus and concentration
π΄ Promote better sleep
Remember, exercise doesn't have to mean spending hours at the gym. A walk around the neighborhood, riding bikes, dancing in the living room, or playing outside with your kids all count!
Making movement a regular part of your routine supports both physical and mental wellness, helping you feel your best all school year long.
Every step counts just start where you are and keep moving! π
π Back-to-School Wellness Tip #3
Plan Your Meals for the Week
Busy school nights can make it tempting to grab fast food or skip meals altogether. Taking a little time each week to plan meals can make a big difference!
Meal planning can help you:
π₯ Make healthier food choices
β° Save time on busy evenings
π° Reduce food waste and save money
π Lower stress by eliminating the daily "What's for dinner?" question
π½οΈ Make sure everyone has a balanced meal to fuel learning, sports, and activities
Even prepping a few lunches, snacks, or ingredients ahead of time can make the week run more smoothly.
Healthy meals help support physical wellness by providing energy and nutrition, while reducing the stress of busy weeknights also supports mental wellness.
A little planning today can make for a healthier, happier week! π
