✨ A little more of my story…
I was recently featured in Bold Journey! ❤️
In the interview, I talk about my journey as a mom, entrepreneur, and author. Including how Tiki Hut Life came to be and what inspired me to create the 5-Minute Daily Connection for Kids series.
Building something while raising a family has definitely come with its share of challenges, but it has also taught me that sometimes the things we create from our own everyday experiences can become something meaningful for other families too.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to share a little more about my process behind the businesses, books, and ideas. 🌴📚
If you've been following along, I'd love for you to take a few minutes to read it!

I was recently featured by South Carolina Voyager in an interview about my journey—from business and marketing, to motherhood and homeschooling, to building Tiki Hut Life and creating my 5-Minute Daily Connection for Kids book series.
What started as a few simple questions and conversation starters I created for my own children eventually became books that I hope can help other families create more meaningful conversations, build confidence, and teach important life skills.
In the interview, I share a little more about why I started, the challenges of balancing family and business, what inspires me, and why creating resources for families has become such a meaningful part of my journey.
If you've ever wondered where all of this started, I'd love for you to read it. ❤️

We are huge lovers of sourdough to continue our healthy lifestyle. You are what you eat.
Processed breads from the store contain SO many chemicals. We have a bread machine for loafs of sweet breads but we also love our sourdough starter for breads, snacks, desserts and more. Our thanksgiving apple pie crust was sourdough and we lovedddd it. Cinnabon rolls are also a top favorite!
Sourdough has many health benefits including richer in nutrients, lower glycemic index, lower amounts of gluten, provides healthy bacteria for your gut health and promotes healthy aging. What is not to love?
PS My food may not be the prettiest but it is tasty!
