Juneteenth is not just one day—it is a reminder of a journey, a legacy, and a continued commitment to freedom, education, empowerment, and community.

While we celebrate June 19th as the day news of emancipation finally reached the last enslaved people in Texas, the spirit of Juneteenth lives on every day. It lives on when we invest in our youth, support Black-owned businesses, preserve our history, uplift our communities, and create opportunities for future generations.

At The Carolinas Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant, we believe Juneteenth is more than a celebration—it is a movement. A movement that encourages leadership, sisterhood, education, service, and self-worth.
