Congratulations to Brandon for receiving this week’s Top Dog Award!
Brandon earned this recognition for showing what it means to be a true giver inside the chapter.
BNI is built on the philosophy of Givers Gain — when we focus on helping others grow, opportunities come back around. Brandon has been a great example of that mindset by showing up, supporting fellow members, and looking for ways to create value.
That kind of attitude is what makes a strong referral group even stronger.
Great job, Brandon! Keep leading with generosity. 👏

This week’s highlight speaker is Deanna Scaldaferri with Healing Hands by Deanna! 🙌
www.healinghandsbydeanna.com
Deanna helps people feel better, move better, and take better care of themselves through her work at Healing Hands by Deanna. Whether someone is dealing with stress, tension, soreness, pain, or simply needs time to reset, Deanna brings a caring, professional, and personalized approach to every client she serves.
That is one of the best parts of BNI — getting to know the person behind the business. When we understand what our members do, who they help, and what kind of referrals they are looking for, we become a stronger sales team for one another.
We’re excited to hear from Deanna this week and learn more about how she helps her clients heal, relax, and feel their best.

Big shoutout to Stefan for being this week’s BNI Belt Winner! 🏆
What does that mean? Stefan passed the most TYFCB — Thank You For Closed Business — in the chapter this past week.
In BNI, referrals are great, but closed business is what shows the power of trusted relationships in action. Stefan helped create real revenue for another member, and that is exactly what BNI is all about.
When business owners show up consistently, build trust, and look for ways to help others win, the whole chapter grows.
Great job, Stefan! 👏

This week’s BNI Providence Business Partners belt winner is John! 🏆
John earned the belt this week because he passed the most referrals that turned into closed revenue for other BNI members.
BNI is not just a networking group where business owners exchange business cards and hope something happens. It is a structured referral team built around one goal: helping each other grow through trusted relationships, warm introductions, and real business opportunities.
When you are surrounded by other professionals who understand your business, trust your work, and actively look for ways to refer you, growth becomes a team sport.
John showed exactly what makes this chapter powerful. He did not just show up. He listened, connected the dots, and helped another member generate actual revenue.
If you are a business owner in the Charlotte area looking for more referrals, stronger relationships, and a room full of people who want to see your business win, BNI Providence Business Partners may be the room you need to be in. Message us for more information.
Congratulations, John! Well deserved. 👏

Are you a local business owner who wants a steady flow of referrals from people who know you, trust you, and understand exactly what you do?
That is what BNI is built for. You meet with other local professionals each week, build real relationships, and help send business to one another. This week’s Top Dawg award went to Chandler Newton of Fourth Dimension Marketing.
Chandler earned the honor by volunteering to run the Providence Business Partners social media page and help more local business owners learn about the professionals represented in our chapter.

This week, we want to recognize Kathryn Yates, our chapter’s family law attorney, for an excellent 10-Minute Presenter Spotlight.
Family law is not always the easiest subject to make entertaining, but Kathryn found a way. She turned her presentation into a game of Family Feud while teaching the chapter more about the situations in which she can help families, including divorce, child custody, support, and other family law matters.
The goal of a BNI presentation is not simply to explain what you do. It is to help other members clearly understand who they should refer to you. Kathryn made her business memorable, approachable, and easy for the chapter to talk about with others.
Great job, Kathryn.

Had the opportunity to hear Daniel Carranza with Carolina Stones Marble & Granite speak at our networking group last week, and it was a great reminder that the details truly matter when it comes to countertops and custom stone work.
One thing that stood out to me is how important it is to have someone knowledgeable guiding you through the process. From understanding the different material options (granite, marble, quartz, etc.) to choosing the right sizes, finishes, and design details, having an expert makes the entire experience much smoother.
Daniel and his team help homeowners make informed decisions that best fit their style, budget, and functional needs — whether it’s a kitchen remodel, bathroom upgrade, or a custom stone project. Their attention to detail and ability to create beautiful custom pieces really sets them apart.
If you’re thinking about updating your countertops or know someone planning a renovation, Carolina Stones Marble & Granite is definitely worth checking out!

Had the chance to hear Billy Jarrell with Mutual of Omaha Reverse Mortgage present to our networking group recently, and I learned a lot about how reverse mortgages can help seniors in the right situation.
One thing that stood out to me was how many retirees are “house rich but cash poor” — owning a home with equity but feeling tight financially in retirement.
With 20+ years of experience, Billy helps homeowners 62+ explore ways to:
🏡 Stay in the home they love
💰 Access a portion of their home equity as tax-free cash
❤️ Create more financial breathing room in retirement
🙌 Maintain independence and age in place
A reverse mortgage isn’t for everyone, but for the right person, it can be a helpful tool to strengthen retirement and reduce financial stress.
If you know a parent, grandparent, or someone 62+ who may benefit from learning more, Billy is definitely a great resource and educator on the topic.
