Ten years ago, I was told my business wasn’t “world-class enough.”

I still built it.

2016—2026. A decade of beautiful skin

We had such a lovely and exciting week at the spa, treating everyone from our wonderful clients to a few familiar faces in town for a show. But it’s moments like this that are so close to my heart.

This little three-year-old is getting ready for her very important role as flower girl, with a facial alongside her mama at our Facial Bar. 🤍

As we get ready to celebrate 10 years of Toska Spa in Charlotte, it’s these sweet little moments that mean so much.

Today I was reminded of just how much I love what I do ♥️
I met Mikayla when she was 17, when she asked for a virtual consultation with me for her birthday because she was struggling with acne. Fast forward a few years, acne well behind us, and today was her pre-wedding facial. Full circle 🤍

Just sitting on my back porch watching skincare videos and I couldn’t help myself 😂

Here’s a little glimpse into how I travel for work, what I brought to New York this week, and why.

Nearly 30 years of looking at skin, touching skin, and understanding how it responds has taught me what to use, when to use it — and, just as importantly, when not to.

Before a major event, there is no room for experimentation. I choose every technique and every formula specifically for the skin in front of me and the result I want to see.

That knowledge and intuition only come with experience.

The first time I experienced the Remodeling Face treatment was at a Biologique Recherche training seminar in Miami. I think it was 2009.

I remember looking at my face in the mirror afterward and thinking, what kind of sorcery is this?! My eyebrows were lifted, my cheekbones looked higher, my jawline tighter, and my whole complexion looked like I had just come back from vacation.

Fast forward 17 years and thousands of Remodeling facials later, and I still get excited to hand a client the mirror after their treatment.
