What exactly is a custom color?
A custom color is color created specifically for you, not a standard partial or full highlight service. It is designed around your hair goals, lifestyle, and maintenance needs to create a fully personalized result.
For this client’s appointment, the process began with a pre cut since she was taking off four to five inches. Cara handled the cut first, followed by the custom color service.
This client wanted to be a bit blonder than last time while still keeping her look low maintenance as a college student. That allowed the color to be designed around her needs rather than fitting her into a preset service.
Her placement, shadow root, and gloss were all customized to create a soft, dimensional blonde that grows out seamlessly. After the color was completed, Cara returned to finish the cut and style for the final result.
That is the purpose of a custom color. It is personal, intentional, and completely tailored to each guest.
New guests will begin with a consultation so a plan can be created that fits their hair and their goals.

Cara is officially a full-time stylist on the floor! 🤍
We are so incredibly proud of her growth and everything she’s accomplished in such a short time. Honestly, I’ve never seen someone build such a busy schedule so quickly and it’s a testament to her talent, passion, and the care she pours into every client who sits in her chair.
Cara gives her heart and soul to this industry, and it shows. We are beyond lucky to have her on our team and can’t wait to watch her continue to shine.
