Let’s celebrate my good friend and client, Winter, as she approaches her 5-year Sisterlocks® anniversary on September 24th! 🎉🥂💛

Winter began her journey on 9/24/2021, and from the very beginning, she embraced every stage of the process. One thing about Winter—she has NEVER been afraid to have a little fun with COLOR! 🎨🔥

Her journey hasn’t been without a few lessons along the way. Going blonde looked beautiful, but it also caused some damage that affected the strength and length retention of her locs. Eventually, we made the decision to trim away the damaged ends and give her hair the opportunity to recover.

And LOOK AT HER NOW! 😍🙌🏾

Her locs grew back, regained their strength, and are absolutely FLOURISHING! 🌱✨ Healthy, full, mature and beautiful—with just enough color remaining to remind us of the journey!

That’s what I love about Sisterlocks®—your journey can have different seasons. Sometimes you grow, sometimes you experiment, sometimes you have to make adjustments…but you keep going. ❤️
