Hyrox # 2 😮‍💨 didn’t go as well as I’d hoped. I didn’t beat my Chicago time but after all the physical therapy work I was able to run it without any pain or swelling. That’s a big win for me since it was what I was worried about the most.

Factors I didn’t even consider were the weather. This comp was outside in the heat which was the opposite of Chicago’s. Start time was later too and food timing was different. Lastly, conditioning was better in the fall but strength was better for this one. Meaning some things that were easier last time felt harder this time and vice versa.

This just means I’m gonna have to do it again 😆 ya live and ya learn. Take the data and improve for plan for the next go! The most important factor was healing my injury and that in turn makes the training easier for whenever that next race comes along.
