Day 6 Check In! I’m sooo happy that I listened to my body and used yesterday as a recovery day instead of forcing myself to get my steps in! I feel so much more well rested after having one too many late nights dancing the night away 👣
Today, I tried an Intro to Pilates Reformer Class at Club Pilates South Loop and loved it! I loved it so much that I’ll be doing it at least once a week from now on!
Steps started but many more to complete today. Stay tuned!

Day 5 Check In: No hot steps for me today. I needed a recovery day. 😴

But, I’ve lost 5 pounds so far! So I count it all joy. 🙌🏼

I’ll be starting at the gym in the morning with a new workout partner. I need to get this workout done first thing in the morning instead of waiting until late at night.

It completely threw me off when I relied on my steps coming for dancing to house music. While I was able to dance into the heat of the night back in the day, it throws off everything in my world when I don’t get to bed by midnight.

So, Day 6 begins at the gym in the morning, and then a second workout at a Pilates studio tomorrow afternoon.

Hold up wait a minute… y’all thought I was FINISHED??? 😂😂😂

Day 4 Prince Fun Fact: Prince was known for having a favorite meal of Spaghetti and Orange Juice. So, that is what I’m going to have a little bit of tonight as I intentionally feed myself my own cooking! This is a big deal for me because my default on the weeknights is delivery! Next up - going INTO the grocery store and shopping instead of explaining to a stranger on an app how to shop for a bunch of bananas. 😭

Day 3 of my Drop It Like It’s Hot 90 Day Dancer Body Reset Challenge! Day 2 Confessions and Prince Fun Fact 💜: Prince recorded When Doves Cry in one night! 🕊️
Today’s snow was a challenge that was well worth it. But I’m grateful to live in a lively and lovely part of town. I’m also grateful for my step machine that does the trick from inside the crib! 👣

Day 2 begins! Drops are a HUGE part of my Drop it Like It’s Hot 90 Day Dancer Body Reset! It’s simple though! I just drop it under my tongue and count to 50 before I swallow! Right now I’m doing it before my first meal and a little after I take my supplements and a shot of ACV with a big glass of water. (Pardon my hair btw!)
