We're a Chicago couple growing fresh vegetables in our small backyard garden. If we can do it, you can too! You don't need a lot of space to grow something good!

Sorry, I havent been posting lately. Cancer treatments had me horrendously fatigued. But, I'm pushing through. The garden is hanging in there also, but yields this season have been abysmal. We've had tons of rain and crazy hot temps. Hoping the Fall garden will be better.
The garlic has finished curing!!

Managed to get a handful of beans today and we havested some potatoes!!

Pics from the garden today. Harvested the rest of my garlic, found a surprise broccoli crown, my tomatoes are hitting the roof of my greenhouse, and I had to show you my beautiful flowers.
This year's garlic is huge!
Gardening while going through chemo and immunotherapy isn't easy. But the garden is my therapy.

Cleared out the rest of my beets to make room more green beans. They were a bit small, but my mom was happy to get them.
