Today I hit pause.

Coming off two major events, constantly pouring into my mentees, my community, my girls, and my brand… I truly needed this.

And during Mental Health Awareness Month, it felt especially important for me to intentionally pour back into me.

Today wasn’t about being the founder of POWER by Teharah J. or showing up in “work mode.” It was about resting, resetting, being present, and allowing myself to receive the same care I so freely give to others.

I got to simply exist in a peaceful space, connect with amazing people, enjoy meaningful conversations, and just breathe for a moment. The upstairs reset area honestly became one of my favorite parts — a quiet reminder that slowing down is necessary too. The panels, the atmosphere, the intention behind it all… beautiful.

As someone who spends so much time creating safe spaces for others, today reminded me that I deserve those spaces too.
