Being a service provider for 10+ years means some of my clients have genuinely become family. Especially over here. 😹☺️

We’ve watched each other grow, celebrated life together, supported each other, and built relationships that go way beyond an appointment. And I’m genuinely grateful for that!

BUTTTT… then there’s the business aspect, you can’t run from it or you’ll be running a circus— sometimes you have to simply call a spade a spade.

Familiarity can make us forget that at the end of the day & things happen & I’m more understanding than I am “strict” this is still a BUSINESS — and it has to be operated as such.

Here’s a reminder although we love our clients dearly, the policies still apply. Not because we don’t care, but because we care about the business, my time, your time, and the clients who come before and after you.

• The time of the clients before and after you

As a provider ALWAYS do my part to take care of my . Please do your part, too.

Policies and instructions when booking are to keep everything running smoothly and make sure everyone is treated fairly.

To my service providers: you can love your clients, build genuine relationships, and still have boundaries.

To my clients: you can have a beautiful relationship with your service provider and still respect the business.

Some love it, some don’t look for it.. 😹One thing I have and will always prioritize above everything: the health of your natural lashes.

I always tell my clients and students, “No lashes, no lash extensions.” Sounds harsh, but it’s the reality. You want to be able to switch up your looks and always have the option to try something new. 🎀

Extensions should be maintained… not abused.

A professional lash removal allows your lash artist to safely remove the extensions without pulling, picking, or compromising the natural lash.

And this is why staying consistent with your appointments matters. Your natural lashes are what your extensions are attached to. If the foundation isn’t healthy, your extensions can’t be their best either.

Take care of your natural lashes now, and you’ll be able to enjoy extensions for the long run. You don’t want to wait until thinning happens to start taking care of YOUR natural lashes.

And I completely understand — life happens. Things get busy, schedules get crazy, and sometimes all you can do is squeeze in a quick fill back-to-back.

But every now and then, you have to pause and remember:

I only tell yall what I know it’s always been more than lashing over here!

**Quick fact, when lashing your base should be at least 1-2mm maybe 3 depending on eyelid away the extension and lid should never meet!

She’s been my client since 2017, and her natural lashes are still healthy because we both do our part.

-I apply extensions that are appropriate for her natural lashes.
- Every extension is properly isolated.
- She doesn’t pull, pick, or rub her extensions off.
- She comes in for maintenance instead of trying to remove them herself.

A common thing said is that lash extensions ruin your natural lashes. The truth is, properly applied lash extensions shouldn’t damage healthy natural lashes. Damage usually happens when extensions are too heavy, improperly applied, or when clients pick and pull them off. (it’s so important you don’t miss your fill in because it’s at that time where you will be able to let your artist know okay they are getting hard or Inneed a lash bath etc).

@ Lash artists, it’s your duty to look at a client and recommend the appropriate service for their eyes. If you can’t suggest another service or what you need never lash their skin to count a service.

Natural lashes are the foundation. If we don’t protect them, there’s nothing healthy to apply extensions to.

I’ve been talking about lash health since the beginning of my brand because beautiful lashes should never come at the expense of your natural ones.

Healthy lashes will always be in style in my books!
