CASTING CALL - SPECIAL KIND OF FOOL 🎭

Are you an actor looking for your next exciting project? Margaret Mojica's powerful drama, Special Kind of Fool, is now casting!

We are looking for talented actors to bring to life this dynamic story of love, betrayal, and personal growth. The play follows Desmond, a hardworking man stuck in a toxic relationship, and the complex web of friends, flirtations, and life lessons that surround him.

Roles available:

Desmond (Male, Early 30s): A loyal, introspective man balancing work and personal struggles.

Lisa (Female, Late 20s-30s, singer): Emotional and impulsive, struggling with insecurity in her relationship. Lisa is also a singer, using music as an emotional outlet.

James (Male, Early 30s): Confident, humorous, but hiding jealousy and insecurity.

Erica (Female, Late 20s-30s): Calm, empathetic bartender, and Desmond’s friend with a heart of gold.

Uncle Petty (Male, 50s-60s): Gruff bar owner, wise and comedic, with old-school charm.

Marty (Male, 40s-50s): The comic relief, always drunk but with surprising insight.

Inspector (Male, 30s-50s): By-the-book city inspector, focused on enforcing the rules.

Inspector's Friend (Eye Candy) (Male, 20s-40s): A good-looking, laid-back presence.

Day Workers (Male/Female, 20s-50s): Day laborers looking for work, representing resilience and hustle.

Plumber (Male, 30s-40s): Flirtatious and laid-back, bringing light humor to tense moments.

Male Patron (Male, 20s-40s): Flirtatious, superficial bar-goer.

Guest Singer (Male/Female, 20s-40s): Soulful performer adding emotional depth to the scenes.
