Your body isn’t working against you,
it’s fighting for you. Seen multiple specialists for different symptoms and still feel stuck? No one heals in parts.

The real work is retuning your body’s systems so they can play together again. Nadia Komarova, FNP

One woman’s breakthrough can become another woman’s setback.

Someone reverses her symptoms with fasting.

Another loses 20 pounds on keto.

Another thrives on a plant-based diet.

Someone else swears by carnivore.

So you think,

“Maybe that’s what my body needs, too.”

The hardest part of modern healthcare isn’t the lack of options.

It’s knowing which ones actually apply to you.

We don’t blame a key because it doesn’t fit every lock.

The same is true for diets, supplements, hormones, peptides…

The question isn’t:

“Does this protocol work?”

It’s:

“Who was this protocol designed for?”

A key isn’t good or bad.

It’s simply designed for a different lock.

Maybe your body isn’t the problem.

Maybe you’ve just been trying the wrong key for your lock…

The women I work with are rarely careless about their health.

Usually it's the opposite.

They're the researchers.

They’re the note-takers.

The ones who have read the books, changed the diet, tried the supplements, tracked the symptoms, and shown up to every appointment.

Yet somehow, the more pieces they collect, the less the whole picture makes sense.

A symptom here.

A diagnosis there.

Another intervention.

Another opinion.

Each one makes sense on its own.

Sometimes you're focusing so closely on one part that you can no longer see the whole mural.

And sometimes the breakthrough isn't finding another piece.

It's finally seeing the pattern.

A plant can stay green for a surprisingly long time while its roots are under stress.
The human body adapts similarly.

Your labs can look “perfect” while your body still feels depleted.
Low glucose.
Low insulin.
Normal HbA1c.

Yet:
fatigue, brain fog, poor exercise tolerance,
weight loss resistance…

Because metabolism is more than blood sugar alone.
The body can maintain normal numbers while quietly compensating underneath.

Sometimes the more important question is not:
“Are the labs normal?”
But:
“What is the body having to do to keep them normal?”

GLP-1 medications are helping many women improve their metabolic markers.
But for a specific phenotype, it’s simply not the right starting point.

Fatigue worsening. Thyroid function drifting. Gut symptoms amplifying. Mood dropping. Hair stops growing.

For women with underlying immune burden and inflammatory patterns, weight is not primarily a glucose problem, but immune-driven adaptation.
GLP-1 addresses one layer while the actual drivers continue operating underneath.

The sequence matters.
One size doesn’t fit all.

If this sounds like your experience, and your body seems to resist the medication. The medication wasn’t the right first step.

Tried GLP1? Scale moved✅, but:
Energy gone
Mood flat
Focus disappeared

That’s not a side effect.
That’s a signal.

The medication revealed something that was already there.

That’s where the real work starts.

Follow for the medicine your labs aren’t showing.

Most people still think fatty liver is just about diet.
Even the more advanced conversations stop at mitochondria.

But what’s missing upstream?

When the immune system stays slightly activated over time, it doesn’t just create inflammation.

It starts to shift how your body handles energy.

Immune signals like TNF-α and IFN-γ aren’t random.
They’re part of a coordinated survival response:

→ keeping fuel available
→ slowing storage
→ pulling the body away from growth and repair

This isn’t dysfunction at first.
It’s a protective shift in physiology,
often described as a cell danger response.

The body is prioritizing protection over efficiency.

Over time, though, that state can become the baseline:
mitochondrial strain, impaired oxidation, hepatic fat accumulation.

So the question isn’t:
“Why is fat building up?”

It’s:
What is your body adapting to — and why hasn’t it shifted back?

Your labs are a moment.
The pattern shows up in between interventions.

AI can interpret your labs, but your labs are a snapshot.

What matters the most is the context and the trajectory across the time.
Week two. Month two. Year 2.

That part isn’t on your report… 🤔
