I thought I should address this as it is a common question that I am asked when injecting neurotoxin 💉

Botox and Dysport are both neurotoxins made from similar components. The slight difference in trace proteins can make one more effective in certain people.

The procedure flor both is the same, however the ratio when mixing is different, which does not affect the result. Similar units are used per area, and results last 3-4 months in both products.

I have noticed that Dysport does kick in quicker than Botox which usually takes about a full 2 weeks. With that being said, most injectors will wait the full two weeks with either product before making any adjustments or touch ups to treatment.

Aftercare is the same in both! Keep eyes out for next post which will talk about aftercare 👩🏻‍⚕️
