I love what I do with all of my heart. I take great pride in making my clients feel comfortable, especially now during a pandemic. Doing haircuts outside is an amazing option for anyone feeling nervous about having someone inside their home or going to a salon. I love that I am able to offer this option! Although living in Chicago makes it tough bc the weather is so unpredictable. It stormed this whole day. Fortunately, this balcony was covered and it still worked! Stay safe friends - wear your mask and respect all those around you 😊

I feel like I remained pretty chill over this quarantine, up until my birthday at the very end. That’s when my anxiety and emotions spiked and melted down a little. I bounced back after that meltdown but Now that the shelter in place order has extended until the end of April, my anxiety is kicking in a little more. It’s so hard not to know how to plan for things and I’m sure most people are feeling similarly. My tactic is always to distract myself and ignore what’s going on 🤷🏻‍♀️. It’s not always effective haha. Anyway, going to try to keep distracting myself by doing makeup and hair and artsy things and a lot of mindless watching of love Island (Australia bc I’ve already gone through all the uk seasons. )

2020 is about self care and self discovery. It’s about growing, learning, trying new things, and trying to be the best version of me.

Do you ever feel like every part of your life is in transitionary period? It’s weird. I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but it’s weird! I’m choosing to feel optimistic about it. I was listening to .kenny podcast, New Mindset, Dis? This morning and he talked about this quote from a movie, “You’ll never know what worse luck your bad luck has saved you from,” and it’s had me thinking all day. I’ve always been a “everything happens for a reason” type of person and hearing him talk about this really resonated with me. I have had some pretty s**t luck over the years, but it could have been so much worse if certain events didn’t take place. I would never have grown into the person I am becoming. I do think some of that bad luck has saved me from even worse luck. Anyway, just what’s on my mind and thought I’d share.

is amazing. That’s it. I met her when she modeled for me a few years ago and now she’s asking me to model for her. It’s crazy! She made me feel very cool and so comfortable and I even got sneak in some kitten snuggles 😻🥰
