Benny Vaughn 😍😍😍~The Father of Sports Massage Therapy

Athletic Trainer, Massage Therapist, Educator, Speaker, Extraordinaire, and THE pioneer of sports massage therapy and its incorporation into the US Olympic Games.
As a former athlete, athletic trainer Benny Vaughn knew the impact massage therapy had on an athlete's performance and recovery; so he pushed for the inclusion of massage therapy into the US Olympic program.
In 1996, while working as a medical liaison for the Olympic Stadium, and member of the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games; Mr. Vaughn decided to add massage therapy as a medical service. It would be the first time massage therapy was officially featured in a high profile manner for athletes. Because of his dedication to this profession, massage therapy is now a part of the Olympic Games as an integral aspect of medical services offered to athletes.
