Our Equinox celebration was on a diagonal street so the setting sun had to help me get my bearings. We had a perfect balance of light and dark for our journeys and paused at the moment of balance.

Today is the fall equinox! On both the fall and spring equinoxes, the run rises exactly due east, and sets exactly due west. Since Chicago is laid out on a perfect grid that aligns with the cardinal directions, that means we're treated to the sun rising and setting perfectly between the buildings downtown on every east/west street. Thus the nickname, .

We definitely felt this in our circle tonight. May you feel the power of your fully embodied truth throughout the season.

We’re here!

We've been celebrating the unique visitors so if you have beautiful beings migrating through your area, comment below. We saw a very large hawk in the red tail family, small bird with a thin beak, and a small fox that we're hoping is from our original fox family but might just be passing through.

While we're all celebrating migration this season, it's important to remember that artificial lights and skyglow can be fatal to migrating birds. Pledge to stand with Audubon as we call on building owners, managers, and homeowners to turn off excess lighting during the months of bird migration to help ensure birds have a safe passage.
