Today I was reminded exactly why we should ALWAYS wear our safety gear while making soap. I managed to get a little bit of soap batter just under my eye. Thankfully, it wasn’t much and I got it off and rinsed the area right away, but it definitely still burns! 😬 Lesson reinforced—safety gear every single time.
On a much more exciting note, I’m really looking forward to cutting this loaf tomorrow! I have some surprise embeds hidden inside, and I can’t wait to see how they turned out. 👀
