The Road to Title IV Funding

My heart is so full right now.

We have been BOOKED and BUSY at Universal Heights Academy, and in the middle of everything going on, I had to stop and really think about just how much I have to be thankful for.

FIVE of my students passed their State Board testing! I don’t think people truly understand how much I carry every student with me. Their goals become important to me. I worry about them, push them, encourage them, fuss at them when I need to, and pray that everything I pour into them prepares them for the moment when it’s finally their turn. So when I hear, “I PASSED,” it does something to my heart every single time. I am SO proud of them.

My best friend also blessed my school with a generous financial blessing, and that meant more to me than she probably realizes. It wasn’t the amount that touched me the most. It was the love behind it. Someone saw my vision, saw how hard I’ve been working, and chose to pour into something that means so much to me. I will never forget that.

And then there are my students who have been showing up and SHOWING OUT on these client services! Watching them become more confident, watching their hands get better, hearing them interact with their clients, and seeing them take pride in their work reminds me why I do this.

This school is personal to me. It’s not just a business. I have poured so much of myself into Universal Heights Academy. There have been sacrifices nobody sees, long days, sleepless nights, worries, prayers, and moments when I’ve had to keep going even when I was tired.

So when I look around and see students succeeding, clients trusting us, people supporting us, and this little school continuing to grow, I don’t take ANY of it for granted.

To everyone who has supported UHA in any way, THANK YOU. Whether you enrolled, booked a service, told someone about us, shared a post, encouraged me, prayed for me, or simply believed in what I’m building, please know that I appreciate you more than I can say.

I’m thankful. I’m humbled. I’m proud. And most of all, I’m grateful.

There is no other way but the UHA way! 🖤
