I look at my daughter and just cry. Life is so unfair, she’s the best kid on earth I don’t understand why someone wouldn’t want to get to know her and love her and watch her grow. As moms we have to stay so strong and sometimes it starts to be too much to handle. The back and forth of begging for help and trying to get things under control and feeling guilty that some day they’re gonna ask why their father wasn’t around and it hurts that I’m gonna have to tell her it was nothing mommy could do. I love her, she’s perfect but she’s not going to understand until she’s much older and it sucks. I tell myself maybe if I just made the choice to be cheated on left and right and stay then she would have a dad that loved her. But my value means more than anything when I’m raising a black queen. I had to sacrifice my own happiness for the greater good of my child early on into my pregnancy and ultimately still ended up in a terrible situation! Mothers guilt is real and having a step dad is NOT the same thing as having your biological family and their support
