I know it sounds strange, but if your hair is naturally fine, making it softer isn’t always the goal.
Fine hair is already soft. Adding too much conditioner can make it slippery, lifeless, and impossible to style.
What it actually needs is balance—enough moisture to stay healthy, but enough texture to hold a blowout, curls, or volume.
That’s why I often recommend skipping the heavy conditioner and reaching for a lightweight leave-in with heat protection instead. You protect the hair without sacrificing the grit it needs to actually hold a style.
Healthy hair doesn’t always mean the softest hair. Sometimes it means creating the perfect balance between moisture and texture. ✨

I’d like everyone to stop referring to this as a stye because at this point we are clearly in a committed relationship.
We’ve been together for over a month. We’ve survived warm compresses, eye creams, prayers, avoidance, emotional breakdowns, and me aggressively staring at it in every mirror with different lighting hoping today would be “the day.”
It’s become part of my personality now. 😂😂😂
