Here’s everything Totsy found when we scanned it. 👇 Nutrigrain bars are everywhere. Pediatricians don’t warn you about them. They’re marketed as a wholesome fruit and grain option for growing kids. The packaging shows real strawberries. The name implies nutrition. So why is Kellogg’s now named in a landmark lawsuit for using tobacco-style tactics to get children hooked? Here’s what’s actually inside the bar your child is eating right now. That red filling in the middle isn’t strawberry. It’s refined glucose, synthetic red dye processed in pressure kettles and held together with methylcellulose — the exact same compound used to paste wallpaper. Every bar Totsy scanned came back under 2% real strawberry. The other 98% is something else entirely. The crust isn’t any better. Hexane extracted oil — a petroleum derived solvent used industrially to strip seeds. Packed with actual iron filings. Sealed with three industrial gums engineered to keep this product shelf stable for nine months. When we scanned Nutrigrain on Totsy, here’s what came up: 🔴 58 factory additives in a single bar 🔴 Under 2% real strawberry despite the name and packaging 🔴 Three petroleum based additives linked to c@ncer 🔴 Methylcellulose — the same compound used to paste wallpaper 🔴 Hexane extracted industrial oil 🔴 Actual iron filings added to the crust ⚠️ Engineered to sit on a shelf for nine months 🧪 50 ingredient “fruit” artificially colored to resemble a strawberry 📋 To***co style tactics cited in a landmark lawsuit targeting children None of this is hidden. Every ingredient is on the label. Most parents just don’t have the time or the chemistry degree required to know what any of it means, and Kellogg’s has been counting on that for decades. This is the exact problem Totsy was built to fix. One scan. Every additive, every red flag, every harmful ingredient — broken down in plain language before your child takes a single bite. #ke
