Your subconscious is literal, love. That’s why the words you use, the stories you believe, & the words you declare over your life matter SO much.

We’ve all heard it before…

“A piece of me died when # # #.”

And as much as I completely understand where you’re coming from (s**t, we’ve ALL experienced things that have changed us!!!), have you ever stopped to think about the language you’re using to describe those experiences?

Your subconscious is constantly taking in the stories you tell yourself. And the more you repeat a story, the more it can shape how you see yourself, your life, & what you believe is possible for you.

You can continue reinforcing a story of death, loss, and brokenness… OR you can start speaking to what you’re actually feeling - sadness, anger, & grief.

Because those are FEELINGS. And feelings are meant to be felt, processed, & moved through. They don’t have to become your identity.

But when you repeatedly tell yourself that a piece of you died, what do you think you’re teaching your subconscious to believe about YOU?

Pay attention to the stories you’re telling, babe. You have every right to grieve what you’ve lost without declaring that you’ve lost a piece of yourself, too❤️

“Are you scared of getting Alzheimer’s?” This is a question I’ve received many times.

The short answer is no.

It’s not because I’m naive about my family history… it’s because I ONLY say things I desire to create in my life.

After learning how much our words create our reality and how we can literally change our body’s chemistry by rewriting old stories & trauma, I have more confidence now than ever that I will remain healthy.

Alzheimer’s & cancer are patterns that have been known to run in our family, but I know they will stop with me because I’m continuously doing the work to shift out of every belief & pattern that doesn’t serve me.

Changing your language & rewriting every limiting belief you have not only creates the life you’ve always desired, but it heals on an ancestral level.
