🌿 We blend science-backed bodywork with restorative ritual 🌿

-Neuromuscular Rooted
-Fascial Shaped
-Nervous System Centered

There is a method to the way we touch.

Bodywork isn’t simply about finding what hurts and applying pressure until it changes.

At Natura, we’re paying attention to the whole conversation happening beneath our hands.

The tone of the tissue.
The way fascia responds to load.
Where movement feels guarded or limited.
How the nervous system responds to touch.
Where the body compensates instead of moving efficiently.

Sometimes the method calls for deeper, more specific work. Sometimes it calls for slow fascial engagement, movement, breath, or simply giving the nervous system enough time to stop guarding.

Because more pressure isn’t always better.

And pain isn’t always where the problem began.

Our work blends anatomy, neuromuscular principles, fascial science, nervous-system awareness, movement and skilled palpation but the most important part may be listening to what your body does next.

We assess.
We apply input.
We feel the response.
We adapt.

Again and again throughout the session.

That’s the method.

Not performing the same massage on every body - but meeting your body where it is that day and allowing what we feel to guide what comes next.

Science gives us the framework.
Our hands gather the information.
Your body helps lead the way.

That’s simply… Natura.

Your session doesn’t have to look the same every time.

Because your body doesn’t show up the same every time.

Some days, we work with pain and movement.
Some days, it’s fascia that needs our attention.
Some days, your nervous system is asking for less- not more.
And sometimes, what your body needs most is simply enough space to be noticed.

That’s why I don’t believe in forcing the body into a predetermined session.

We listen. We assess. We follow what’s presenting today.

Clinical knowledge gives us the map.
Your body gives us the direction.

That intersection is where Natura lives.

Not routine bodywork. Responsive bodywork.

YOUR FASCIA IS FEELING MORE THAN YOU THINK.

Fascia is also richly innervated sensory tissue.

It contains mechanoreceptors and free nerve endings that continually send information to the nervous system about things like:

• tension and mechanical load
• movement and position
• pressure and stretch
• pain and potential threat
• changes happening within the body

In other words, fascia doesn’t just support movement.

It participates in how your brain knows where your body is and what’s happening inside it.

This is part of proprioception, your internal sense of body position and movement and it helps explain why changing fascial input can sometimes change the way a movement feels, even before there is a dramatic structural change.

And this is where bodywork gets really interesting.

When we apply pressure, stretch, shear, movement, or other mechanical input to fascial tissue, we aren’t simply working with “tight tissue.”

We’re giving the nervous system new sensory information.

That information can influence muscle tone, movement strategies, body awareness, and the way the brain interprets sensation.

Fascia isn’t just wrapping.

It’s communication.

And when we work with fascia, we’re working with a tissue that is in constant conversation with the nervous system.

That’s why at Natura, we don’t just ask:

“Where are you tight?”

We ask:

“What is your body sensing and how has it learned to respond?”

A little note from me. 🤍

I want to take a moment to say thank you.

Life has asked a lot of me lately, and behind the doors of Natura, I’ve been navigating some difficult changes in my personal life while continuing to show up for the work and the people I care so deeply about.

There have been days when I haven’t been quite as quick to respond. Days when schedules have needed a little more flexibility. Days when I’ve walked into the studio carrying more than you could see.

And through all of it, you have given me patience, kindness, understanding, and grace.

I don’t take that lightly.

As someone who spends so much of my life reminding others to listen to their bodies, honor their capacity, and make space for what they’re carrying, I’m learning to extend some of that same compassion to myself.

Natura has always been more than a business to me. It has been something I’ve built with my whole heart, and the people who walk through these doors have become such an important part of its story.

So if I’ve seemed a little quieter, slower, or simply more human lately… thank you for meeting me there.

Thank you for continuing to trust me with your bodies, your stories, your healing, and your time.

And thank you for giving me room to navigate my own season of becoming, too.

I’m still here. Still doing the work I love. Still believing deeply in what we’re creating at Natura.

Just taking things one day at a time. 🤍

Let’s talk headaches…

from two different lenses.

From a physical standpoint, headaches can have a surprisingly large cast of characters.

The suboccipitals at the base of the skull.
The upper trapezius and SCM.
Jaw tension and clenching.
Cervical joints.
Eye strain.
Breathing patterns.
Sleep, hydration, hormones, stress and even how long you’ve been staring down at a screen.

With tension-type and some cervicogenic headaches, structures of the neck and head can contribute to pain that is felt somewhere else- across the forehead, behind the eyes, at the temples, or around the base of the skull.

But I also like to explore another lens: what was happening in your life when the headache arrived?

Metaphysical anatomy traditions have long associated the head with themes like mental pressure, overthinking, control, expectation, responsibility and the struggle between what we think we should do and what we actually feel.

That isn’t a medical explanation for a headache and emotions shouldn’t be blamed for physical symptoms.

But it can be an interesting question.

Are you clenching your jaw while trying not to say something?

Have your shoulders slowly migrated toward your ears during a stressful week?

Are you mentally running ten steps ahead of yourself?

Are you carrying an impossible amount of responsibility?

Have you given your brain a moment of quiet lately?

Because “physical” and “emotional” aren’t always two completely separate experiences.

Stress can change muscle tone.
Emotion can change breathing.
Concentration can change posture.
Anxiety can increase clenching.
And all of those things create very real physiological input.

So when someone comes to my table with recurring headaches, I’m interested in more than “Where does it hurt?”

I want to know:

What does your neck feel like?
What is your jaw doing?
How are you breathing?
How have you been sleeping?
And… how have you been?

Sometimes anatomy gives us one piece of the story.

Sometimes our lived experience gives us another.

At Natura, there’s room to be curious about both.

Embodied Integration asks something different of you.

Not more effort.
Not more pushing.
Not another thing to “work on.”

It asks you to notice.

To notice where you brace before you even realize you’re bracing.

To notice the breath that stops at your chest.

The jaw that tightens.

The shoulders that rise.

The places your body protects, compensates, or holds tension because somewhere along the way, that pattern became useful.

It asks you to become curious about the difference between what your mind says and what your body is actually experiencing.

And then- we work there.

Through bodywork, movement, breath, nervous system awareness, fascial exploration and intentional stillness, Embodied Integration Sessions create space to explore the patterns underneath the tension.

Because integration isn’t about forcing your body into change.

It’s about giving your nervous system enough information, safety and awareness to begin choosing something different.

Sometimes the shift is physical.

Sometimes it’s emotional.

Sometimes it’s simply realizing, “I didn’t know I was holding myself like that.”

And that awareness matters.

Because before the body can change a pattern, we first have to be able to feel the pattern.

That’s what these sessions ask of you:

Come curious.
Come willing to notice.
And let your body be part of the conversation.

09/15/2026

This is where we slow things down. Where we listen to what the body is actually communicating. Where fascia, muscle, breath, and the nervous system all become part of the conversation.

No rushing. No forcing. No treating the body like a collection of separate parts.

Just thoughtful, science-informed bodywork with space to settle, reconnect, and breathe.
Welcome to Natura.

Come as you are. Your body can take it from here. 🤍
