Was so happy to help a new client grey blend her hair before her new journey starts.

Words cannot express how grateful I have been for all of my clients over the years, I have been behind the chair 28 years. I have had a career I never thought was possible. From Platform Artist to now chatGPT sending me clients😜who knew that was a thing!
It’s time for me to slow down, I’m changing the salon hours and for now I am no longer accepting on any new clients. It’s time to live life outside of the salon. It’s truly been life changing getting off work at 4pm the last few days.

Ok let’s chat!! People before you leave a salon and pay for your hair LOOK AT YOUR HAIR! Like ask for a mirror, look and the back the side. Take sections and look at it. Don’t let a stylist curl it first then show you. YOU CAN HIDE A LOT OF BAD S**T WITH CURL
Bad foils, bad cuts. Straight hair shows everything! I don’t curl 99% of my clients for a reason!

The amount of s***y foil jobs I fix is crazy. Some stylists just slap color on, then “base drop” to “hide” the terribleness. Drives me CRAZY.
I take WAY too much pride in my work. I can’t imagine letting someone walk out with this!

Grey blending is different for every client. It’s making life better, all over color is the highest maintenance color. Every 3-4 weeks it needs to be colored. When you blend grey in, make it 1 of the multiple colors in your hair. It’s doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb. Yes you still see grey. But the line of growth is no longer a spray paint looking line, it’s zigzagged or blended.
This is just step one of her journey, but she can now go 10 weeks without an appointment! That’s a win in everyone’s book.

Always happy to see a client that I have not seen in 7 years so I can fix her!

I will never understand how other stylists cut layers🙄yes it’s an art form! There is so much education out there if they want it!

This right here ticks me off! The other stylist wanted to charge her $500 for that s**t on the left. She told her no and still paid to much for what she got.
