When she first came to me, she had previous chunky PERMANENT lowlights. This is her second appointment with me and to be 100% transparent we are STILL battling those pesky permanent lowlights.

I want to be transparent with my guest and future guest about grey blending - this is a JOURNEY. Every appointment will potentially require a different method/toner/adjustments.

I promise to always do what I can do as a stylist and whatever your hair will allow me to do within our appointment time together. I will never push your hair past the limit to reach a desired goal.

We did a mini balayage refresh & toner to make her feel a little bit more bright for summer time.

When my client sat in my chair today with previous at-home permanent color, her goal was to become blonde. From the very beginning, I was transparent with my expectations and explained that I couldn’t guarantee we’d achieve her dream result in one session—but I promised to do everything I could while keeping the integrity of her hair my top priority.

To our surprise, we were able to lift her beautifully with zero damage.

The biggest reason for this success wasn’t just the products or techniques used in the salon—it was her commitment to caring for her hair at home. She minimized heat styling, maintained a healthy routine, and protected her hair long before today’s appointment.

Healthy hair starts long before you sit in the salon chair, and today was proof that consistency pays off. I’m so proud of this transformation and even more proud that we achieved it while preserving the health and strength of her hair.

When your client says they can’t make it into the salon ever 3 months anymore but still wants to come in and treat herself — you listen and take her low maintenance!

She will continue to stay low maintenance and still treat herself every 3 months for a haircut & toner and every 5 months for a color refresh.

My client was originally booked for a root retouch but mentioned she wanted to feel a little blonder for summer. Since we didn’t have enough time for a full foil service, I refreshed her roots and added a quick balayage at the bowl to brighten her mids and ends. A simple adjustment that made a big impact until her next blonding appointment.
